Cadets can join at the age of 12, provided they are in year 8 in Secondary Education.

Five episodes of 'Ross Kemp in Afghanistan 2007', featuring 1 R ANGLIAN, were broadcast on Sky TV in Jan - Feb 08. A great piece of reporting and fantastic coverage of the battalion, too.
