Join Suffolk ACF as a Cadet
The ACF is
for 12 to 18 year olds, male and female.
You can join
once you are 12, provided you are in Secondary
Education, and remain until you are 18 years and 9
months.
Many Cadets stay
on as Adult Instructors and some join the Territorial
Army or Regular Forces.
Join Suffolk ACF
as an Adult
Adults
need to be interested in young people and in the
military or adventurous training, be reasonably fit and
able to spare one evening a week, occasional weekends
and attend a 2 week Annual Camp.
Previous service
experience is not essential as training will be given.
Uniform is
provided free. Travelling expenses and pay for c 27 days
per annum may be claimed.

Suffolk ACF?
Most
Cadets and Adults live near their Detachment but you can
choose to join any Detachment that has a vacancy.
