SSI Phil Hubert, drinking some 'hard stuff' while regaling Capt Janet Tyrrell with his 2005 exploits of departing Netheravon airfield astride his 1954 'Vincent 1000', jumping from 12 500 ft in a Cessna Caravan aircraft, parachuting to the ground and motorcycling from Netheravon back to Rollestone camp in the World Record time of 25 min 2.908 sec.

Lord in heaven look down and bless
Every member of this Mess.
Grant to each such verve and dash,
That we impress Lord Tollemache.
Amen.

The Lord Tollemache did give permission to mispronounce his name so that the rhythm of the lines worked !

The Annual Dinner of the Suffolk ACF Officers' Mess, was held at the Weekend Training Centre in Thetford.
The PMC Officers' Mess, Major John L Raybould TD, wishes to thank those who made the Dinner such a success:
Padre Michael Woods (hotfoot back from the East Indies) for his 'Amazing Grace', Maj Bob Potter MBE, CEO SACF, for the planning, liaison with the East of England Regt and shopping for the presentation 'Thermos' flasks; Capt John Catt, QM SACF, for organising the kit; SSI Phil Hubert (Cty HQ), SSI Donna Catt (Leiston Det) and SI Andy Tasker (Halesworth Det) for their help in the setting up of the room, their work during and after the dinner.
Cdts from B Coy who did a splendid job dispensing sustenance and refreshment: Beccles Det - Jamie Barnard, Lee Knowles and Gavin Hewitt; Bungay Det - Connor Allen and Talisa Indelicato; Lowestoft (N) (Royal Artillery) - Lee Moran and Shaun Wade;

Capt (Retd) Dick Jarvis for his advice to the President of the Offrs Mess Committee - the Webmaster !
Mrs Janine Raybould for her serviette and wine shopping.
Lt Col Mike Smye and others for suggesting suitable purchases for the next dinner - aka cruets and sugar bowls !
