SUFFOLK ARMY CADET ADMIN OFFICER JUMPS FOR A HOSPICE

© Maj John L Raybould TDSSI Christine Forsdike (right), Admin Offr at Ipswich SACF HQ, raised over £650 in sponsorship for the East Anglian Children’s Hospice from her parachute jump at Netheravon during the Suffolk ACF Annual Camp at Rollestone on Salisbury Plain.

Christine, 51, joined Suffolk ACF in 1992 as the Admin Asst.

She said: 'The exit from the aircraft at 13 500' was totally unexpected and the pressure on my ears during the 20 second freefall to 5000' was tremendous. The view of Salisbury Plain in the evening sunlight on my 5 minutes canopy ride to the landing area was incredible.'
