Maj John L Raybould TD, Suffolk ACF PRO, reports : |
The past months have been a period of success.
Spirits are high. Our County Executive Offr, Maj Bob Potter MBE (former Viking, Tiger and Pompadour) undertook a sponsored London-to-Paris cycle ride in Sep 06 in aid of the Royal British Legion, raising £1550. The 200 cyclists covered 280 miles in 3 legs: the 1st to Dover then 2 in France. At the conclusion they were escorted up the Champs Elysees. |
Sport Jamie Dines of Ipswich set a record time on the Parachute Regt ‘P Coy' 2-mile steeplechase and assault course at Catterick and joins the Regular Army in 2007.
Our Girls Tug of War Team, 2005 National
Champions, again competed at the National Championships in York on 15 Jul. Sadly, they were
knocked-out early but watch for their return in 2007! |
