Congratulation to Beccles Det on yet again winning the
competition. Their 2004 1st prize of £50 was for with a majestic folder of
photographs and archives. 2nd were Ipswich Grenadier
Guards £35 and 3rd Bungay £25.
Detachments should now be preparing their folders for
judging at 2005 Camp at Rollestone. Prizes: 1st £65, 2nd
£40, 3rd £30.
Items displayed should relate to the Competition Year
which runs from 1 Jul to 30 Jun. eg

of their Cadet Medals (12 years of service) and to
Lt David Smart (Lowestoft North, B Coy) on the
award of his 2nd Clasp (for 24 years of service!)
Note: In Jan 05 he will have done 31 years and in 2006
will be due his 3rd clasp.

For the over-16s, an additional voluntary
opportunity, for extra cost, is a static line parachute
jump from 3000’ and a tandem skydive from 10 000’.
The Suffolk ACF Webmaster will have some of that now that permission from the boss at home
has been given!

152 mile solo walk from Sudbury in Derbyshire to

am. He raised £500 in aid of the BBC 'Children in Need'

Congratulations On the weekend Sat 20-Sun 21 Nov,
the Eastern
Region Girls’ Netball, Volleyball and 5-a-side Soccer
Championships was held at RAF Honington.
Our Suffolk ACF Girls won both the
Regional Netball and Volleyball Championships and were
Runners-Up in the Junior Girls Soccer. Hearty
congratulation to all competitors and to County Sports

Thanks to those who sent the Webmaster photographs and
text for the 'Castle' (The Regimental Journal of the Royal
Anglian Regt) and for the Suffolk Section of the
'Britannia and Castle' (Regimental Journal of the
Cambridgeshire, Suffolk, Royal Norfolk, East Anglian and
Royal Anglian Regimental Associations).
An A4 page of
copy, plus photographs, is submitted, respectively, to the
Regimental and Suffolk Section Editors, so the SACF
Webmaster has no control over what is published!
