Competitions
The Webmaster offered a crisp Fiver to the
1st Suffolk ACF Cadet who identified the owner of the
shiny boots featured at Leek Camp Set 3.
The winner was the owner of those immaculate boots, Cpl Tahnee Hearn, Ipswich
Grenadier Guards Detachment, C Coy.
As promised, a crisp fiver was sent. It is great to
see the site is read!
The Webmaster
offered a crisp Fiver to the 1st Suffolk ACF Cadet to
correctly name the Suffolk ACF Officer
(serving with County HQ, A, B or C Coys) with the lowest
Regimental number. (See Regimental
Numbers.)
The competition closed on 30 Apr 05 and no one surmised
that it was 481370 Lt Col Mike
Smye, County Support Group.
The next in line is 498990 - your Webmaster!
The Webmaster offered a crisp Fiver to the first Suffolk
ACF Cadet who could state the first name, surname and
Det of the 2 'Anchors' in the SACF Tug of War Teams
featured at the Regional
Tug of War 15 May. The competition
closed on Thu 9 Jun 05 and no one named both.
However, LCpl (Tank Ace) Mitch
Lambert, Stowmarket Detachment, A Coy,
correctly named the girls' anchor as LCpl Lindsey Rumbell, A Coy,
Wattisham detachment, so he wins the fiver!
Who was the boys' anchor? (Answer please to Major
John L Raybould TD,
Webmaster Suffolk ACF.)
With thanks to Lindsey
Rumbell, Anchor for the SACF Girls ToW 2005
Team, the Boys' anchor was Sven
Alderton, Ipswich Holbrook Guards.
The Webmaster offered a crisp Fiver to the first Suffolk
ACF Cadet who correctly counted the number of
appearances on this site of Spongebob,
the Suffolk ACF Girls Tug-of-War Mascot.
The winner was Sgt Lindsey
Harvey, Ipswich Holbrook Guards,
with the correct total of 6.
The Webmaster offered a crisp fiver to the
first Suffolk ACF Cadet who correctly reported the name
of the scruffiest officer in SACF County HQ (once
described by his Chief of Staff in Bosnia as 'often
somewhat dishevelled'. And that was on a good day !)
The competition closed on 13 Nov 05 and no one surmised
that it was your Webmaster !
